French Conversation Course (B2/C1)

Class Description

This course is for people who have a B2 level and would like to preserve or improve their language skills. You should already be able to understand the main ideas of even complex texts and to also produce detailed texts on a wide range of subjects. This course is designed to help you further expand your vocabulary, and to become more precise in the way you express yourself. It shall provide you a safe space where you can practice speaking about a variety of topics and to understand more and more nuances of the language. We will speak about different topics relevant in everyday life such as food, traveling, politics, people and culture with a focus on France. Please note that there will be NO CLASS on Saturday, November 27 due to Thanksgiving. If you're looking for a lower level conversation course, please have a look at our B1 conversation course on Sundays from 1 pm (Eastern Time) / 7 pm (Italy time). We have very small class sizes with a maximum of 5 students per class. That way, we ensure that all course participants receive a lot of one-on-one attention, so the class can be tailored to our students' needs. This enables our students to learn the language very fast and efficiently. We pursue a conversational approach in all our classes to get our students to speak the language confidently as quickly as possible. When learning a language, it is crucial to practice speaking the language to be prepared for conversations in real life situations. This can be achieved best in an intimate class setting with few students as each student benefits from having lots of time to speak in class. The course fee of $279 covers all the costs - 10 classes à 1.5 hours, the coursebook and the registration fee. We offer an Early Bird Discount of $50 (USD) for everyone signing up by September 6 (Labor Day). Please use the discount code EARLYBIRD. All online language courses are held via Zoom and we would ask you to install the Zoom desktop app before the class. You will receive the link within 24 hours before the course starts. We are committed to offering follow-up courses for all our students who wish to continue taking the next higher course level. Our courses always start in January, April, July and October.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please contact us at least 8 days before the class start to be eligible for a full refund. In most cases, it will not be possible to receive a refund or credit after that. To be able to keep our class sizes small and course fees low, we need our customers to stick to their reservation.
