French Conversation Course (B1)

Class Description

You have a decent understanding of the French language and grammar but you struggle speaking? This conversation course will help you improve your speaking skills. While you will be expected to have learned all the tenses as well as the subjonctif and gérondif, this course is perfect for people who still need some time to produce sentences. Together, we will practice common expressions and having conversations about everyday topics such as food, vacation, work. We will also practice to express opinions by having discussions about various topics, such as current events, politics, short texts, etc. The goal of this class is mainly to help you improve in terms of fluency. We have very small class sizes with a maximum of 5 students per class. That way, we ensure that all course participants receive a lot of one-on-one attention, so the class can be tailored to our students' needs. This enables our students to learn the language very fast and efficiently. We pursue a conversational approach in all our classes to get our students to speak the language confidently as quickly as possible. When learning a language, it is crucial to actually practice speaking the language to be prepared for conversations in real life situations. This can be achieved best in an intimate class setting with few students as every student benefits from having lots of time to speak in class. The course fee of $279 covers all the costs - 10 classes à 1.5 hours and the registration fee. We offer an Early Bird Discount of $50 (USD) for everyone signing up by January 3. We will request proof when using the code. All online language courses are held via Zoom and we would ask you to install the Zoom desktop app before the class. You will receive the link within 24 hours before the course starts. We are committed to offering follow-up courses for all our students who wish to continue taking class. Our courses always start in January, April, July and October.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please contact us at least 8 days before the class start to be eligible for a full refund. In most cases, it will not be possible to receive a refund or credit after that. To be able to keep our class sizes small and course fees low, we need our customers to stick to their reservation.
