German Adv. Beginner Course I (A 2.1)

Class Description

This level is for anyone who has experience speaking German, someone who can easily use the present tense to talk about everyday activities, who can use accusative case and modal verbs, knows how to order something at a cafe and can tell what time it is. In this level we will dive into differences between accusative and dative cases, will start learning past tense (Perfekt), will talk about living arrangements and you will also be introduced to declension of adjectives in the accusative as well as their comparative and superlative forms. We have very small class sizes with only 3-6 students per class. That way, we ensure that all course participants receive a lot of one-on-one attention, so the class can be tailored to our students' needs. This enables our students to learn the language very fast and efficiently. We pursue a conversational approach in all our classes to get our students to speak the language confidently as quickly as possible. When learning a language, it is crucial to actually practice speaking the language to be prepared for conversations in real life situations. This can be achieved best in an intimate class setting with few students as each student benefits from having lots of time to speak in class. The course fee of $299 covers all the costs - 10 classes à 1.5 hours, the coursebook and the registration fee. All online language courses are held via Zoom and we would ask you to install the Zoom desktop app before the class. You will receive the link within 24 hours before the course starts. After successfully completing the class, we offer to provide a certificate of completion upon request.
