Swedish Beginner Course (A 1.1)

Class Description

This level is for anyone who has never spoken Swedish or for someone who has learned some Swedish a long time ago. For this course, you don't have to prepare anything, we will start from scratch. We will learn all the basics: greetings, introducing yourself, numbers, how to say countries and languages and where you come from. We will learn how to talk about professions and jobs as well as asking questions and negating a sentence. We have very small class sizes with only 3 to 6 students per class. That way, we ensure that all course participants receive a lot of one-on-one attention, so the class can be tailored to our students' needs. This enables our students to learn the language very fast and efficiently. We pursue a conversational approach in all our classes to get our students to speak the language confidently as quickly as possible. When learning a language, it is crucial to actually practice speaking the language to be prepared for conversations in real life situations. This can be achieved best in an intimate class setting with few students as every student benefits from having lots of time to speak in class. The course fee of $299 covers all the costs - 10 classes à 1.5 hours, the coursebook and the registration fee. Everyone signing up by September 20 can use the discount code EARLYBIRD at checkout to receive a $50-discount. Students currently enrolled at a college or university as well as au-pairs can use the Coupon Code STUDENTS to receive a 20% after that. We will request proof from everyone using the code. All online language courses are held via Zoom and we would ask you to install the Zoom desktop app before the class. You will receive the link within 24 hours before the course starts. After successfully completing the class, we offer to provide a certificate of completion upon request. We are committed to offering follow-up courses for all our students who wish to continue taking the next higher course level. Our courses always start in January, April, July and October.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please contact us at least 8 days before the class start to be eligible for a full refund. In most cases, it will not be possible to receive a refund or credit after that. To be able to keep our class sizes small and course fees low, we need our customers to stick to their reservation.
