Swedish for Kids (8-10 years)

Class Description

You would like for your child to learn Swedish? This class is perfect for children aged 8 to 10. In our 45-minute classes, activities will be kept short and fun - we will sing Swedish songs, talk about Swedish holidays that come up during the course and play fun games to help the children learn Swedish in a playful way. Your child will not be expected to know any Swedish - we will start from scratch. Literacy (reading / writing) does not yet play a major role, but the children will learn how to introduce themselves, the first numbers and colors and how to talk about their family and their hobbies. The class sizes are kept very small with a maximum of 5 students per class. That way, your child can learn Swedish with other kids of similar age and still get enough one-on-one attention. Everyone learns differently and we want to make sure to meet them where they are and to give them exactly what they need. The course fee of $229 covers all the costs - 10 classes à 45 minutes, all course materials and the registration fee. All online language courses are held via Zoom, and we would ask you to install the Zoom desktop app before the class. You will receive the link within 24 hours before the course starts. Our terms start in April, July, October and January and you will be able to book a follow-up course for the next higher level in the next terms if you would like for your child to continue learning Swedish.

Cancelation Policy

To cancel, please contact us at least 8 days before the class start to be eligible for a full refund. In most cases, it will not be possible to receive a refund or credit after that. To be able to keep our class sizes small and course fees low, we need our customers to stick to their reservation.
