Dutch Advanced Beginner II (A 2.2)

Class Description

This level is for anyone who has experience speaking Dutch, someone who can easily use the present tense to talk about everyday activities and feels quite comfortable using the past tense ('perfektum'). You should already be able to order food and express preferences, wishes and complaints, and speak a little about work, job searches and clothes. We have very small class sizes with a maximum of 6 students per class. That way, we ensure that all course participants receive a lot of one-on-one attention, so the class can be tailored to our students' needs. This enables our students to learn the language very fast and efficiently. We pursue a conversational approach in all our classes to get our students to speak the language confidently as quickly as possible. When learning a language, it is crucial to actually practice speaking the language to be prepared for conversations in real life situations. This can be achieved best in an intimate class setting with few students as each student benefits from having lots of time to speak in class. The course fee of $299 covers all the costs - 10 classes à 1.5 hours, the coursebook and the registration fee. We offer an Early Bird Discount of $50 for everyone signing up by September 20. We will request proof from everyone using the code. All online language courses are held via Zoom and we would ask you to install the Zoom desktop app before the class. You will receive the link within 24 hours before the course starts. After successfully completing the class, we offer to provide a certificate of completion upon request. We are committed to offering follow-up courses for all our students who wish to continue taking the next higher course level. Our courses always start in January, April, July and October.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please contact us at least 8 days before the class start to be eligible for a full refund. In most cases, it will not be possible to receive a refund or credit after that. To be able to keep our class sizes small and course fees low, we need our customers to stick to their reservation.
