German Conversation Course (B1)

Class Description

You know all the basic grammar but don't feel confident speaking? Then this conversation course is perfect for you. The course has 2 main goals: Firstly, the course is designed to help you improve in terms of fluency. During the 6 classes, you will get the opportunity to practice dialogues and phrases needed in everyday life: for small-talk, shopping and conversations with friends. Secondly, we work on expressing ourselves more precisely. Therefore, we will work on expanding your vocabulary, on expressing yourself more precisely (f.e. by using more different and precise verbs and adjectives), and on learning German idioms. To join the course, you should feel comfortable using the present and past tense to tell short stories and anecdotes. We have very small class sizes with only 3-6 students per class. That way, we ensure that all course participants receive a lot of one-on-one attention, so the class can be tailored to our students' needs. This enables our students to learn the language very fast and efficiently. Especially in conversation classes, it is crucial for each student to have time to speak in class. This can be achieved best in an intimate class setting with only few students. The course fee of $299 covers all costs - the registration fee and ten 1.5-hour classes. We will ask you to install the Zoom desktop app and you will receive the Zoom link within 24 hours before the class starts.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please contact us at least 8 days before the class start to be eligible for a full refund. In most cases, it will not be possible to receive a refund or credit after that. To be able to keep our class sizes small and course fees low, we need our customers to stick to their reservation.
