Our French Teachers

Robert Sciarrone

Born to an Italian family in NYC, Italian is Robert's second language and French is his adopted language. He lived in Paris, studied at the Sorbonne and has been teaching French for 14 years. He is also a classically-trained pianist (but also has fun with Ragtime!) and performed at the Carnegie Recital Hall.

Giulia Beccarelli

Holding a BA in Foreign languages and Literature from the University of Parma, Giulia has been teaching French and Spanish for the past four years, together with ESL and Italian in the summers. To further specialize in the field of language teaching, she currently pursues a graduate program.

Amelia Wells

Amelia Wells earned a BA in French from Princeton University, where she was an active member of its celebrated French theatre troupe, L’Avant-Scène. She earned an MA in French from the University of Kansas and has taught at the college level for six years.
